Rincon de la Plaza
Cosy and typically Spanish tapas restaurant in the centre of Coín. In summer evenings, it is lovely to sit on the terrace by the church where there is a lively crowd. Tip: Delicious ice cream from next door for dessert!
Barra Casa Paco
Barra Casa Paco is located next to Rincon de la Plaza. It’s also a tapas restaurant, but with slightly more upmarket dishes. It’s definitely worth a try during your stay. Which one’s better? Try them both for yourself. We can’t decide.
Coconut bar (5km)
Tapas bar with excellent menu and special dishes. Location is not great, but the food is worth te visit! Booking via website/whatsapp possible in English.
Indier Mumtaz Mahal
Not really Spanish:) but very tasty is the Indian restaurant on avenue de España. Service and reservations in English.
GuruGuru
An Indian restaurant in the centre of Coín. A small restaurant where all the dishes are freshly prepared to order. And you can really taste the difference. The spices and tender cuts of meat and fish melt in your mouth. Not only is the food finger-licking good, but the owner is also a really friendly guy.
Las Alberquillas
Spanish venta with a nice garden terrace. Will you be there for lunch? Then ask for menu del dia!

Bit of an odd location on the roof of La Trocha shopping centre but a nice place wit delicious food and lovely waiters. European cuisine. Reservations by phone. Also available in English.
Bohemía
Traditional Spanish cuisine with lots of local products. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the lovely courtyard garden. Lovely waiters.
Casa Pedro
Traditional Spanish cuisine.
La Mafia
An Italian restaurant to die for. In a side street of Coín you will find this restaurant that is made in an old olive mill. The mill has been preserved, so you eat between the press. In addition, there is a beautiful outdoor area. But above all: the food is delicious!
Alhaurin el Grande
Tottam el Jardin interior
Restaurant located outside with large garden where there is often (jazz) live music. Fine cuisine and very atmospheric. Check the website for opening hours and choice of music. Reservations can be made via the website.
Santiago's Kitchen
In the centre of Alhaurin el grande is the atmospheric restaurant Santiago. Modern and diverse cuisine. Reservation desirable (by phone, also in english). At certain days they serve a set menu. Each time from a different country.
Ojèn
Boca Bistro
This bistro, run by Dutch owners Monja and Marcel, is a must-visit if you’re in Ojèn and looking for surprising Spanish dishes and delicious wine. Monja and Marcel make sure you feel at home straight away, and everything is taken care of down to the last detail.

Los Marangos
Enjoy tapas made with love – and you can really taste it. You certainly shouldn’t miss this cosy tapas restaurant in the centre of Málaga when visiting the city. They have several branches in the city centre. You can combine your visit with a trip to Picasso Square, where you can dine near Picasso’s birthplace or right in the middle of the street in the city centre.
La cascada
This gem just outside Marbella is not one you want to miss. European menu. The place is gorgeous, just next to a waterfall, and the whole place is surrounded by beautiful flowers. The service makes it a treat and, not unimportantly, the food is great. Slightly more expensive, but definitely worth a visit!
